This is our second level of COMPETITIVE TEAM GYMNASTICS OUTSIDE OF THE GYM. Silver/Level 3 Team Gymnasts may compete USA Gymnastics and/or Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Xcel Silver or Level 3, depending on what coaches think is best for the particular gymnast during competition season.
Our Xcel Silver/Level 3 program is a 2 hour class 2 times per week. There are currently 5 different class times throughout the week to choose from. Most gymnasts keep their same class day and time from Bronze/Level 2, but let us know if you need to switch classes for any reason. The cost for Xcel Silver/Level 3 Team is $135 per month.
Silver/Level 3 gymnasts are expected to become a member of USA Gymnastics for most meets, and there is an additional annual fee for that. Silver/Level 3 Team gymnasts will be required to purchase a Team Leotard, Warm-up set, and Duffel bag or Backpack. We try to keep the prices as low as possible on these items, but plan to spend around $250 on the total uniform package. We try to use the same leotards for a couple of years. Meet Fees: away Meet Entry Fees run $95 - $160 per meet and we usually attend 3 - 6 meets per school year. So moving up to Silver/Level 3 can be an added expense of $300 - $600 per year, depending on the number of meets you attend. Your gymnast is NOT required to attend all meets the team goes to, but we would like them to attend at least one away meet and it is highly recommended that they attend State Meet if they qualify.
Deciding to be part of our Silver/Level 3 program is a commitment to our TEAM program. It means your goal is to try to move up within our team program - you want to compete and train to be the best gymnast you can be! ATM Gymnastics offers different competitive options including USA Gymnastics & Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) which we use to introduce our lower level team gymnasts to the fun and experience of performing and competition!
Being ready for Silver/Level 3 does not mean you have to move to that team - it just means you are ready and have that option if it is what you & your family want to do. DO NOT feel like your gymnastics career is over if you do not want to do Silver/Level 3 Team. We will continue to work with you with the same expertise and high level of coaching that all of our gymnasts and levels receive. That is the best thing about our program - all of the classes Beginner through Team are taught by the same TEAM coaches and we treat everyone the same, no matter what level or program you are part of. This is something you will NOT find at most other gyms. Once part of this team, you are expected to remain enrolled and pay Tuition year round. You CAN NOT take the summer or a month off, and then rejoin the Team when school starts. You are required to pay for 12 - 4 week months per year whether you attend class or not. You are also expected to make up for any missed classes.
All TEAM GYMNASTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND AT LEAST 1 WEEK of ATM Gymnastics SUMMER CAMP. If you want to attend our special TEAM CAMP week, you must attend at least one additional week of Summer Camp - Camp is an important part of our Team Training and Bonding.
