Recreational:
Beginner/Recreational classes are designed for children ages 4 1/2 to 17 who are new to gymnastics or have some experience. These classes are really Beginner 1, 2, & 3 all in one. Classes are taught in circuits, and each station is progressive. This allows every child to advance on each event at their own pace.
PreTeam:
An invitation to PreTeam means a gymnast has shown they are able to achieve many basic gymnastics skills and have a good work ethic. PreTeam gymnasts are not required to compete, however, there will be one or two in-house meets for them to participate in during the school year if they choose. PreTeam gymnasts are required to purchase an ATM Gymnastics leotard whether or not they choose to compete.
Competitive Team:
We currently have a USA Gymnastics & AAU Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, & Platinum Optional Teams with plans to add Levels 6-8 in the near future. Team gymnasts should expect to compete in at least 3 meets per Fall and Spring season, as well as their State Championship if they qualify. Team gymnasts will be required to purchase competitive team uniforms (leotard, leggings, jacket, bag) for their level.
Adult Recreational & Competitive Class:
Our Adult class is open to all over 18 years - Beginner to Advanced! We do a group warm-up and stretch, then we work at progressive stations around the gym on all events. When our circuit is finished, we usually have time for people to go back and revisit stations they want to work at a bit more or do full floor routines to music. All Adult gymnasts must have a current AAU Non-Athlete Gymnastics Membership in order to participate.
